Over 30,000 Tourists Visit Myagdi and Mustang During 4-Day Holiday

Kathmandu. A very encouraging arrival of tourists has been observed in the tourist areas of Myagdi and Mustang in recent times. Taking advantage of the 4-day public holiday from Jestha 14 to 17, more than 30,000 domestic and foreign tourists have entered various tourist destinations in these two districts.

The Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation has stated that the hotels in Myagdi and Mustang have been completely 'packed' due to the arrival of a large number of tourists in such a short period.

During this period, the main choices of tourists have been the famous religious site Muktinath, Kagbeni with historical and cultural significance, the border area with China, the Korala pass, and Bhurung-Tatopani, famous for its natural hot springs.

Especially due to the extreme heat in the Terai, Inner Terai, and big cities and the long holiday at once, tourists from various parts of the country have flocked to directly observe the enchanting natural beauty, unique culture, and important religious sites of the Himalayan region.

According to the ministry, there has been a huge crowd of people bathing in the natural springs in Bhurung-Tatopani and visiting Muktinath.
