Guthichaur Rural Municipality Chairman Dan Bahadur Budha Joins Rastriya Swatantra Party

Surkhet. Nepali Congress elected Guthichaur Rural Municipality Chairman Dan Bahadur Budha has joined Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP). He announced his entry into RSP on Thursday amidst a program.

He was elected rural municipality chairman from Congress in 2079 BS. Earlier, as there were rumors of him joining RSP, Congress Jumla had also asked him for an explanation. As expected, Budha left Congress on Thursday and joined RSP.

It is said that he has brought along with him one independently elected ward chairman. According to sources, he has joined RSP with the preparation to contest for the rural municipality chairman again from RSP in the upcoming elections.

'Now Congress will not be in a position to win the election, seeing that the public will choose RSP, he went there,' sources say, 'His bargaining was going on, and he must have joined after the talks were finalized.'
