Human Rights Committee Report Addresses Unidentified Victims of Violent Protest

Kathmandu. The report of the committee investigating human rights violations has also spoken about the 12 unidentified deceased among those who died during the violent protest on Bhadra 24.

Addressing this in point number 6 of the recommendation section, it has been stated to identify them and provide relief and compensation to their families similar to other deceased.

The report has recommended providing relief and compensation to the families of the 9 identified deceased among the 21 who died on that day, similar to the families of others who died during the protest. 12 of those who died on that day have not yet been identified.
