Communist Party Leader Agni Prasad Sapkota Calls for Unity for 2084 Local Elections

Kathmandu. Nepali Communist Party leader Agni Prasad Sapkota has said that if all the party's forces move forward unitedly, success will be achieved in the local level elections to be held in 2084. Addressing a gathering of local level people's representatives at Pragya Bhawan Kamaladi on Wednesday, Sapkota said that a resolve should be made to achieve success in the elections.  

'If we move forward with the full commitment of the party's entire strength, we can achieve qualitative success in the 2084 elections. Let us make a historic resolve towards that through this national gathering,' Sapkota said.

Sapkota urged the representatives to go to every village, every neighborhood, and every settlement with a clear vision and listen carefully to the citizens' concerns. He said that the people's representatives should pay special attention as it is the concluding year. In the gathering, which will continue until tomorrow, after subject experts and people's representatives present their views, Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda will conclude the program.
