MP Devkota Criticizes Government for Ignoring National Assembly Questions

Kathmandu. CPN (UML) MP Samjhana Devkota has objected, stating that the government has not responded to questions raised during the zero and special times of the National Assembly. 

Speaking at the meeting on Wednesday, she accused the government of completely ignoring the views and queries raised by MPs during the zero and special times. 

Questioning whether the government does not value this assembly, she clarified that if the government does not respond, the zero and special times of the assembly will have no significance. Speaking at the meeting, she said, 'The government has never responded to our views and queries raised during the zero and special times. We have always returned unanswered. Does the government not value this assembly? Or have they not been able to obtain that information? If there is no response from the government, then this zero time and special time will have no significance.'

It has been a practice for the concerned minister to answer questions of public concern raised during the zero and special times of parliamentary meetings.
