Federal Parliament Sessions Scheduled for Today

Kathmandu. Meetings of both houses of the Federal Parliament are scheduled to be held separately today (Wednesday). According to the Parliament Secretariat, the meeting of the House of Representatives has been called for 11 am and the meeting of the National Assembly for 1:15 pm.

The agenda for today's House of Representatives meeting includes tabling the bill 'Intangible Cultural Heritage (Conservation) Bill, 2081' originating in the National Assembly along with the message received. Similarly, Finance Minister Dr. Swarnim Wagle is scheduled to present the Economic Survey of the fiscal year 2082/83.

Likewise, the Secretariat has stated that the agenda includes the Minister of Communications and Information Technology, Dr. Vikram Timilsina, presenting a proposal for consideration on the 'Film Bill, 2082' originating in the National Assembly.

Today, the National Assembly meeting will also feature Finance Minister Dr. Swarnim Wagle presenting the Economic Survey of the fiscal year 2082/83. Additionally, Minister Wagle is scheduled to present a proposal for consideration on the 'Alternative Development Finance Mobilization Bill, 2082', which has been received with a message from the House of Representatives.

Similarly, a meeting of the Agriculture, Cooperatives, and Natural Resources Committee under the House of Representatives will also be held this morning. The Secretariat has stated that the committee will hold discussions focused on the easy and accessible supply of chemical fertilizers to farmers.

The agenda includes detailed discussions with the officials of the Agricultural Inputs Company Limited and Salt Trading Corporation Limited regarding the current stock, distribution system, and future plans for chemical fertilizers.
