MP Apsana Banu Questions Imprisonment of Anti-Corruption Protesters

Kathmandu. Rastriya Swatantra Party MP Apsana Banu has questioned what injustice was done by protesting against those who have hollowed out the country for 35 years.

During the zero hour of the House of Representatives, MP Banu asked when those arrested during the protest and currently in various jails would be released.

‘Those who fought against those hollowing out the country for 35 years are now in various jails. Some of those who fought for good governance and an end to corruption in the country are sons who support their homes, some are fathers, and some are students studying for a golden future. When will their cases be heard and when will they be released,’ Banu said. She also demanded that an environment be created for their release by completing the process.
