Kaski Madhi Rural Municipality Teachers Receive Communication and IT Training

Kaski. Communication and information technology-related training has been provided to teachers of Madhi Rural Municipality in Kaski. 48 teachers from basic to secondary level within the rural municipality participated in the five-day training. Trainers Rupindra Prabhari, Khemraj Poudel, and Kirtiraj Dhakal from the Education Training Center, Gandaki Province, facilitated sessions on PowerPoint, Excel, AI, Microsoft Word, Google applications, email, internet, and important educational websites.

The training was provided to make teachers technology-friendly in a timely manner, said the rural municipality's chairman, Devijung Gurung. Mentioning that the capacity development of teachers is a priority for the rural municipality, he stated that age is not a barrier to learning.

Khagendra Lamichhane, chief of the rural municipality's Education, Youth, and Sports Branch, informed that technology-based learning is mandatory for today's students and that necessary technology has been arranged in all schools within the rural municipality. He added that if teachers do not become technology-friendly, it will negatively impact students' learning.
