Second RT Gold Cup 2026 Football Tournament Final Schedule Announced

Kuala Lumpur. The final schedule of the 'Second RT Gold Cup 2026' football tournament to be held on May 31 and June 1 (Jeth 17 and 18) at the famous Panasonic Stadium in Shah Alam, Malaysia has been released. The organizing RT FC Malaysia released the schedule in a special program.

The tie-sheet draw program held at The Grand Kelana D'sara Suite was presided over by RT FC Chairman Raju Tamang. The acting president of Nepali Football Association (NFA) Malaysia, Bishnu Chaudhary, was the chief guest at the program, while other NFA officials, businessman Mandip Bhattarai, and chairpersons and representatives of participating clubs were in large attendance.

A total of 18 teams are participating in this two-day knockout tournament, which is considered very prestigious among Nepali clubs and Nepali players in Malaysia. The participating teams have been divided into two groups: Group 'A' and Group 'B'.

The winner of the tournament will receive 22,000 Malaysian Ringgit along with an attractive trophy, while the runner-up team will have to settle for 11,000 Malaysian Ringgit. Attractive prizes have also been arranged for individual categories in addition to team prizes. The organizers have stated that 300 Malaysian Ringgit will be awarded to the best goalkeeper, best midfielder, best defender, best coach, and best player of the tournament.

Group 'A':

• RT FC vs Makalu FC Johor – May 31, 9:00 AM
• Kathmandu FC vs BJY FC Nilai – May 31, 12:00 PM
• New Boys FC Johor vs Muar FC – May 31, 3:00 PM
• BRS FC vs Balen City FC – May 31, 6:00 PM

(Note: Manakamana FC will get a bye in the first round according to the schedule and will play against the winner of the next round.)

Group 'B':

• NFC KL vs Sarlahi FC – May 31, 10:30 AM
• Micron FC vs Brother FC KL – May 31, 1:30 PM
• Himalayan FC vs United FC – May 31, 4:30 PM
• Church FC KL vs New Boys FC KL – May 31, 7:30 PM
• N Penang FC vs United FC – May 31, 10:30 PM

The first semifinal match of the tournament will be played on June 1 at 3:00 PM, and the second semifinal will be played on the same day at 5:00 PM. The final match for the championship between the best teams from Group 'A' and Group 'B' will be held on the same day at 8:00 PM at the Panasonic Stadium.
