Nepal 'A' Squad Announced for 42nd All India Gold Cup; Two Players Depart for European League

Kathmandu. The Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) has announced the 'Nepal A' team for the 42nd All India Gold Cup Cricket Tournament to be held in Uttarakhand, India.

According to a press release issued by CAN spokesperson Chumbi Lama, a 15-member team has been selected for the tournament which will run from May 22 to June 2, 2026.

CAN has entrusted Anil Sah with the responsibility of captaining the team for this tournament. The announced team includes Mayyan Yadav, Trut Raj Das, Dev Khanal, Rashid Khan, Bashir Ahmed, and Narayan Joshi. Similarly, Akash Chand, Hemant Dhami, Pawan Saraf, Deepak Dumre, and Yuvraj Khatri have found a place in the team. Other team members include Bipin Khatri, Lalit Rajbanshi, and Arjun Kumal.

Meanwhile, CAN has also informed that two players from the Nepali national cricket team are about to depart for Belgium to play in the European League.

All-rounder Gulshan Jha and batter Ishan Pandey have been selected to play for the JB Bruges team in the 'EU T-20 Belgium' tournament, which is scheduled to start from June 6, 2026.

CAN has stated that they are about to depart for Belgium to participate in that tournament.
