Bayern Munich Defeats Stuttgart to Win German Cup

Berlin. With the help of England captain Harry Kane's excellent second-half hat-trick, Bayern Munich defeated Stuttgart to win the German Cup title. With this victory, Bayern has completed the double by winning both the domestic league and cup this season.

The first half of the final match held at the Olympiastadion in Berlin ended in a goalless draw. In the 55th minute of the second half, Kane gave Vincent Kompany's team Bayern the initial lead by scoring a goal with a diving header from Michael Olise's back-post cross.

The former Tottenham striker controlled Luis Diaz's pass with 10 minutes left in the game to score his second personal goal. Then, by converting a penalty received in the injury time of the match, he ensured his team's victory and also completed his hat-trick in consecutive matches.

He has set an incredible record of 61 goals in 51 matches played this season. Bayern had already won the Bundesliga title for the second consecutive season at the beginning of May, and also won the German Super Cup last August. Kane has won a total of four trophies since joining the German club in 2023.

With this easy victory for Bayern against Sebastian Hoeness's team Stuttgart, the club has won the German Cup title for the 21st time. Bayern has succeeded in lifting this title for the first time since the 2019-20 season.
