Spring Mineral Industry Sealed in Triyuga Municipality for Non-compliance

Gaighat. The Spring Mineral Industry located in Triyuga Municipality-3, Motigada, Udaypur has been sealed by the administration.< p>

On Tuesday, during an inspection by a team from the Food and Quality Control Division Office, Udaypur, Gaighat, along with the District Administration Office, it was found that the industry was filtering water against standards, affecting consumer health, and therefore has been sealed, the administration stated.< p>

According to Nirajan Magar, chief of the Food and Quality Control Division Office, following repeated complaints from consumers, the team inspected the industry and found that water was being produced against standards, leading to its immediate sealing.< p>

Previously, the industry was fined a nominal amount for operating against standards, but due to repeated disregard for instructions and actions harmful to consumer health, the industry has been sealed this time, the Food and Quality Control Division Office stated.< p>

Udaypur's Assistant Chief District Officer Vikram Pandey stated that the industry was compelled to be sealed due to its repeated defiance of warnings and operation against standards.< p>

Similarly, the administration has banned the sale of all 'mineral water' produced by this mineral industry and distributed in the market area.< p>
