Five Senior Armed Police Officers Recommended for Promotion

Kathmandu. Five high-ranking officers of the Armed Police have been recommended for promotion to a rank one level higher. Armed Police Senior Superintendent Rajendra Khadka has been recommended for promotion to Armed Police Deputy Inspector General (DIG).

The promotion committee, chaired by Home Ministry Secretary राजकुमार श्रेष्ठ on Tuesday, recommended Khadka and other high-ranking officers for promotion by one level. The promotion committee has recommended SP Sanjay Bhattarai of the Armed Police for promotion to Armed Police Senior Superintendent.

The promotion committee stated that they have been recommended for promotion to the post that will become vacant after the promotion and appointment of Anjanikumar Pokharel, who was recommended for AIG on Tuesday.

In the law group, Armed Police Senior Superintendent Yuvraj Aryal has been recommended for promotion to Deputy Inspector General (DIG). Although new positions were approved in this group earlier, promotion recommendations could not be made.

In the health group, Technical Armed Police Superintendent Dr. Rossu Thapa has been recommended for promotion to SSP in the same group.

In the law group, SP Chhabilal Pandey has been recommended for promotion to the post of Senior Superintendent. If the recommendation is not satisfactory, competing officers can file an objection within 7 days to the committee hearing objections to the promotion in accordance with Rule 39 of the Armed Police Regulations 2072.
