Communist Party Coordinator Prachanda States New Parliament is Product of Martyrs' Sacrifice

Kathmandu. The coordinator of the Communist Party of Nepal and former Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda has said that the current new parliament is the product of the sacrifice of inclusive martyrs. Addressing the House of Representatives today in his capacity as a former Prime Minister, he said, 'From the outside, this building is made of cement, bricks, and iron, but deep within it lies the sacrifice of thousands of martyrs. We took up guns and agitated yesterday for this rainbow parliament representing every class, caste, ethnicity, gender, and community.'

He added emotionally, 'The foundation of this building holds that martyrdom. Every wall of it is colored with sacrifice. I express my heartfelt gratitude to all the martyrs of history, from armed and peaceful movements to the latest Janji movement, as well as the disappeared, injured warriors, and campaigners.'

Praise for the Success of the National Independent Party He accepted the success of the National Independent Party in the election, which won nearly two-thirds of the seats, and gave special congratulations. 'The National Independent Party, which cooperated in both government and opposition roles yesterday, has achieved nearly two-thirds success in this election. For that, my special congratulations to Chairman Honorable Ravi Lamichhane and Honorable Prime Minister Balendra Shah,' he said.

He recalled the role his party played in creating the environment, even though he himself was constrained by the election results.
