MP Khadak Bahadur Buda Highlights Jajarkot Earthquake Victims' Plight and Nalagadh Hydropower Issues in Finance Committee

MP Khadak Bahadur Buda narrated the pain of citizens still forced to live under tarpaulins and tin roofs long after the earthquake in Jajarkot at the Finance Committee.

He demanded special budget allocation considering the backward state of Karnali Province.

Raising the issue of the 417 MW Nalagadh Hydropower, Buda said, 'The company has 1 billion 700 million rupees in its account, but compensation for houses and structures has not been distributed yet.' He urged to expedite the work of compensation distribution and hydropower construction.
