SEE 2082 Results Show Improvement

Kathmandu. The National Examination Board has announced the results of the Secondary Education Examination (SEE) 2082 on Monday night. Analyzing the data received, an improvement in the results is seen compared to the previous year.

According to Examination Controller Tukaraj Adhikari, 65.98 percent of the participating students in the regular category have been 'graded', meaning they have passed. According to him, 430,667 students participated in the examination from across the country this year. Out of these, 284,160 students received various grades, while 146,507 students fell into the 'non-graded' (NG) category.

Previously, in the SEE results of 2081, 61.81 percent of students had passed. This year, that percentage has increased to 65.98. Compared to the previous year, there has been an improvement of 4.17 percentage points in the results this year.

Before that, in the SEE of 2080, only 47.86 percent of students had passed, while 52.14 percent of students were in NG. With the results improving for the second consecutive year, a positive signal has been seen in the education sector.

According to the published results, the number of students who scored 3.6 to 4 GPA is 48,392. Similarly, 80,372 scored 3.2 to 3.6 GPA, 94,222 scored 2.8 to 3.2 GPA, and 55,977 students scored 2.4 to 2.8 GPA.

Likewise, there are 5,190 students who scored 2 to 2.4 GPA, and the number of students who scored 1 to 2 GPA is seven, the board has informed.
