Parliament Meeting: Government Introduces 8 Ordinances Replacing Bills

Kathmandu. Bills to replace 8 ordinances issued by the Balen Shah-led government have been presented in the House of Representatives. The replacement bills for those ordinances were presented in the House of Representatives meeting currently underway at the Parliament Building in Singhdarbar. 

On behalf of Prime Minister Balen Shah, Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Sobita Gautam presented replacement bills for 3 ordinances. Minister Gautam presented the replacement bills for the 'Public Procurement (Second Amendment) Ordinance, 2083', 'Special Arrangement for Removal from Public Office Ordinance, 2083', and 'Constitutional Council (Functions, Duties, Authority and Procedures) (First Amendment) Ordinance, 2083'. 

Finance Minister Dr. Swarnim Wagle presented the 'Anti-Money Laundering (Third Amendment) Ordinance, 2083', and Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Sobita Gautam presented the 'Ordinance to Amend Some Nepal Laws, 2083'.

Similarly, Minister for Land Management, Cooperatives and Poverty Alleviation Pratibha Rawal presented the 'Cooperatives (First Amendment) Ordinance, 2083', Minister for Health and Population Nisha Mehta presented the 'Ordinance to Amend Some Nepal Laws Related to Health Science Academies, 2083', and Minister for Education, Science and Technology Sasmit Pokharel presented the 'Ordinance to Amend Some Nepal Laws Related to Universities, 2083'.
