Armed Police Seize INR 2 Million at Morang Border

Kathmandu. Armed Police have recovered Indian Rupees 2 million from the Gharuchok border crossing in Ratuwamai Municipality-2, Morang. A team from the Border Security Gulm Bardanga and BOP Doria recovered the amount while it was being brought on a motorcycle from India. 

When the armed police team tried to check, the individuals bringing the money abandoned their bags and fled. DSP Shailendra Thapa, spokesperson for the Armed Police Force, told Ratopati that further investigation and action regarding the recovered amount will be handed over to the relevant bodies.
