Madhesh Province Government to Continue Under Chief Minister Krishna Prasad Yadav

Janakpurdham. The ruling coalition parties participating in the Madhesh Province government have decided to continue the current government. A meeting of the ruling coalition parties held on Sunday decided to support Chief Minister Krishna Prasad Yadav-led government and give it a vote of confidence.

The decision was signed by Congress party leader and Chief Minister Krishna Prasad Yadav, Janata Samajwadi Party Nepal Parliamentary Party leader Saroj Kumar Yadav, CPN (UML) Parliamentary Party leader Yuvraj Bhattarai, and Loktantrik Samajwadi Party Parliamentary Party leader Jaynula Rain.

With this decision of the ruling coalition parties, the Madhesh Province government appears to be stable for the time being. It is expected that the activities of the opposition parties and the upcoming vote of confidence process will further clarify the political equation of the province.
