Lumbini Buddhist University Appoints Chinese Student Fu Qiang as International Education and Cultural Exchange Ambassador

Kathmandu. Lumbini Buddhist University has appointed Chinese student Fu Qiang as 'International Education and Cultural Exchange Ambassador'. Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Suvarnalal Bajracharya presented the certificate of appointment as ambassador to Fu.

The university stated that the Chinese citizen Fu Qiang, appointed as ambassador, has made significant contributions to promoting international student enrollment and cultural exchange and expanding access.

Studying Buddhist Philosophy at the same university since 2025, he has actively contributed to various projects such as constructing wells in Nepali rural settlements by raising philanthropic support from China, and supporting the university library, the university stated.

Newly appointed Ambassador Fu Qiang has pledged to further strengthen his academic journey in the study of Buddhist Philosophy and promote Buddhist education internationally. He aims to present the identity of Nepal's only Buddhist university and the true essence of Buddhism to the world.

The university also expressed confidence that international cooperation and cultural exchange will be further strengthened in the coming days.
