Riyadh. Portuguese football legend Cristiano Ronaldo has achieved another major success in his playing career.

In the Saudi Pro League match against Al-Shabab on Thursday, which Al-Nassr won 4-2, Ronaldo completed his 100th goal in the Saudi League. Since joining Al-Nassr in 2022, he has strengthened his impact and achieved this milestone.

The 41-year-old Ronaldo crossed this milestone by scoring in the second half of the competitive match. With this goal, Ronaldo's total career goals have reached 971, and he has already scored 26 goals in the league this season.

His goal tally for Al-Nassr across all competitions has reached 127. Joao Felix played a significant role in Al-Nassr's victory, completing a hat-trick.

Reacting after the match, Al-Nassr coach Jorge Jesus said that Ronaldo is always dangerous in attack and that was evident again in today's game. With this win, Al-Nassr remains at the top of the table with 82 points from 32 matches.

Al-Nassr is 5 points ahead of second-placed Al-Hilal. Al-Nassr is now just one win away from the title. If Al-Nassr wins the upcoming match against its rival Al-Hilal on May 12, it will secure the league title.

In addition to the league, Al-Nassr has also reached the final of the Asian Champions League 2, where it will face Gamba Osaka on May 16.
