Gold and Silver Prices Increase in Local Market

Kathmandu. Compared to Wednesday, the price of gold and silver has increased in the local market today as well. Gold has increased by Rs 1,800 per tola and silver by Rs 105.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers, the price of hallmarked gold is Rs 298,600 per tola today, and the price of the same amount of white metal is Rs 5,155.

Yesterday, Wednesday, the price of hallmarked gold was traded at Rs 296,800 per tola and silver at Rs 5,050 for the same amount. Last Tuesday, one tola of hallmarked gold was traded at Rs 291,000 and silver for the same amount at Rs 4,880.

According to international media, one ounce of gold is trading at $4,703 and the same amount of silver at $77 in the international market today.
