Sukumbasi Family Data Collection Intensifies at Dashrath Stadium

Kathmandu. Data collection of Sukumbasi families at Dashrath Stadium in Tripureswor, Kathmandu has progressed at a very fast pace. 

Currently, 3,111 families have registered their names in the process of collecting data of affected families who are in distress after Sukumbasi settlements were removed from various areas of Kathmandu.

The Bagmati Civilization Integrated Development Committee and the Kathmandu Valley Development Authority jointly started this work by setting up a camp at the stadium itself from May 12. Forms are being filled for affected families and necessary documents and details are being collected continuously by establishing separate desks inside the stadium.

To systematize this process and provide immediate relief to the affected citizens, other essential services have also been brought into operation within the stadium. Health check-ups have been arranged for citizens coming to register their details, and the process of creating national identity cards is also being carried out simultaneously. 

The command for all these management tasks and security coordination is being handled by the Kathmandu Metropolitan City.
