Two Arrested in Banke for Spreading Fear with Weapons on TikTok

Banke. Banke police have arrested two people on charges of spreading fear and terror in society by posting videos with weapons on the social media TikTok.

Those arrested include Ajay Kumal, 30, of Nepalgunj Sub-Metropolitan City-4, and Anil Khatik, 26, of Dudhwa Rural Municipality-4. Police said they displayed unnatural activities on their TikTok IDs, holding weapons in their hands and terrorizing the general public.

According to the District Police Office, Banke, Ajay Kumal used the TikTok ID 'Ajay Magar' and Anil Khatik used the TikTok ID 'Anilsonkhar' to make such videos public. After posting scenes that created a sense of insecurity among the general public and terrorized society, the police kept them under surveillance and arrested them.

Taking such activities that disrupt public peace and security seriously, the police have initiated legal action against them. According to Banke Police Information Officer and Deputy Superintendent of Police Deepak Patali, both arrested individuals have been presented before the judicial officer, remanded, and are being investigated.
