Nepal Dalit Sangh President Lok Bahadur Bishwakarma Resigns

Kathmandu. President of Nepal Dalit Sangh, a sister organization of the Nepali Congress, Lok Bahadur Bishwakarma has resigned from his post. President Bishwakarma submitted his resignation to the central office in Sanepa, addressing party president Gagan Thapa. 

The resignation letter mentions that he is unable to fulfill the responsibilities of the president due to personal health and family problems. 'I express my gratitude to the then President for appointing me to the post of Central President of Nepal Dalit Sangh and entrusting me with the responsibility as per the decision of the Nepali Congress Central Working Committee. However, I am submitting my resignation to step down from this responsibility due to my personal health and family reasons.'

Bishwakarma has written in his resignation letter that although he has resigned from the post, he will always remain active in other activities of the Sangh. Bishwakarma was appointed as the central president of the Sangh by party president Deuba on October 13, 2080.
