Two Scooter Drivers Arrested for Drug Use in Bhaktapur

Bhaktapur. During special checking in the Sano Thimi area of Bhaktapur, traffic police have taken under control two drivers driving vehicles after consuming drugs (Lapse).

During the investigation conducted on Monday in front of Sano Thimi, Madhyapur Thimi Municipality-2, it was confirmed that two scooter drivers had consumed drugs. A joint team of Kathmandu Valley Traffic Police Office, Narcotics Control Bureau, and Traffic Police Division Sano Thimi had increased surveillance on vehicles plying on the road. During that time, when the technical team of Nepal Police Hospital conducted health check-ups of the drivers, it was found that two people had consumed banned drugs.

Although the identities of the arrested drivers have been kept secret, they have been sent to Police Circle Thimi for further investigation and legal action.
