Mechi Customs Office Collects Rs 13.14 Billion Revenue by End of Chaitra

Jhapa. Mechi Customs Office has collected revenue of Rs 13 billion 14 crore 45 lakh 81 thousand by the end of Chaitra in the current fiscal year 2082/83. This amount is 69.83 percent of the target set for the current fiscal year.

According to Information Officer of the office Ishwarkumar Humagain, the target for revenue collection in the current fiscal year is Rs 18 billion 87 crore 74 lakh 83 thousand. He informed that revenue of Rs 1 billion 60 crore 68 lakh 47 thousand was collected in the month of Chaitra alone. This collection is 94.69 percent of the target for the month of Chaitra.

According to the office's data, revenue collected in the month of Shrawan in the current fiscal year was Rs 1 billion 26 crore 50 lakh 79 thousand, in Bhadra Rs 1 billion 36 crore 44 lakh 39 thousand, in Ashoj Rs 1 billion 52 crore 24 lakh 91 thousand, and in Kartik Rs 1 billion 30 crore 81 lakh 89 thousand.

Similarly, the office has stated that revenue of Rs 1 billion 36 crore 74 thousand was collected in Mangsir, Rs 1 billion 58 crore 89 lakh 24 thousand in Poush, Rs 1 billion 47 crore 88 lakh 57 thousand in Magh, and Rs 1 billion 65 crore 80 lakh 4 thousand in Falgun.
