Chinese Food Blogger's Translucent Fried Chicken Goes Viral

Kathmandu. Chinese food blogger Cai Nan's unique transparent 'fried chicken' is going viral on social media. This chicken does not look like normal chicken. It looks almost transparent like a glass sculpture.

Cai Nan is already known for unusual and experimental food. The fried chicken he prepared this time looks more like a mixture of science and art than traditional food.

Last month, Cai posted a video saying, 'I wanted to make transparent fried chicken, but the result was unusual.' This video went viral. The video received more than a million views.

In his viral video, he showed the process of making transparent chicken in detail. He started by using the bones as a base to make the chicken. A bone-like structure was created using substances like bone marrow, collagen, and gel. Then, the meat was liquefied and the spherification technique was used again.

In the final stage, an attempt was made to make the outer part crispy, making it look completely different visually while reflecting the experience of traditional fried chicken. While some are very attracted to this fried chicken, some are uncomfortable seeing it. However, most have seen it more as 'food art' than food.
