Government offices to hold events within premises

Kathmandu. All program activities under the Ministry of Land Management, Cooperatives, and Poverty Alleviation must now be conducted only in the office's assembly halls and meeting rooms. This has been stated.

The Ministry's Planning Monitoring and Evaluation Division issued a circular on Monday to all divisions, commissions, authorities, departments, and offices, directing them to make government spending economical and result-oriented.

According to the division, no office will now be allowed to conduct meetings, seminars, training, or similar programs in hotels or resorts. These activities must be held only within their own office premises or in assembly halls and training rooms located within government structures.
