Kapilvastu Municipality Delegation Visits Rautahat's Maulapur for Development Study

Rautahat. Visitors are increasingly coming to study and observe development infrastructure and other subjects in Maulapur Municipality of Rautahat. Today, the Mayor of Maulapur, Rinakumari Sah, welcomed a 30-member delegation from Buddhbhumi Municipality of Kapilvastu district.

Mayor Sah welcomed the delegation and provided information about the exemplary work done in Maulapur Municipality in areas such as development, social security, education, health, transportation, and housing construction.

Various delegations from different municipalities and rural municipalities are coming for visits, influenced by the development model work in Maulapur Municipality. Delegations from various districts including Chitwan, Kapilvastu, and Rupandehi, impressed by Maulapur's work, are attempting to implement the plans implemented there in their own municipalities.

Development works in Maulapur, including its zero-tax policy, free electricity and water, development of education and health, and integrated Dalit settlement construction, are being discussed across the country. Discussions about Maulapur's development work are not only happening in Nepal but also in Bihar, India, a neighboring country.
