Kathmandu Authorities Continue Slum Evictions Amidst Registration Process at Dasharath Stadium

Kathmandu. While the government continues its bulldozer operations in the slum settlements of Thapathali, Sinamangal, and Manohara areas of the Kathmandu Valley, a registration process is underway for people residing in the slum settlement at Dasharath Stadium.

Employees from the Empowered Body for Bagmati Civilization Integrated Development Committee and Kathmandu Valley Development Authority are engaged in registering them.

Bishnu Prasad Sharma, Deputy Director of the Empowered Body for Bagmati Civilization Integrated Development Committee, informed that 340 families have been registered so far.
