Mahesh-Dhapung-Tarakhola Road Construction Completed in Myagdi

Myagdi. The construction of the Mahesh-Dhapung-Tarakhola road has been completed. The project was carried out under the leadership of the District Infrastructure Development Office.

Although the road was opened 16 years ago, it had remained in poor condition due to a lack of upgrades and maintenance. A 3.5-kilometer stretch from Pakher in Mangala Rural Municipality-3 to Aaldanda has now been paved and graveled.

Mahendra Baniya, head of the office, stated that Rs 58.6 million was spent on upgrading the road.

The seven-meter-wide road now features drainage systems for rainwater runoff and retaining walls to protect the road from soil erosion.
