Bajura Ward Chair Harka Bahadur Bista Passes Away at 50

Bajura. Harka Bahadur Bista, the ward chair of Khaptad Chhededaha Rural Municipality-6 in the district, passed away last night at the age of 50. According to the rural municipality's vice-chair, Bisudevi Nath, Bista, who was elected as ward chair from the Nepali Congress in the 2079 local level elections, was suffering from brain cancer.

Rural municipality chair Dil Bahadur Rawat stated that the municipality will observe a day of mourning and fly the flag at half-mast in honor of Bista, who was also a social worker.
