Sunrisers Hyderabad Secure Dominant 47-Run Victory Over Delhi Capitals

Kathmandu. In the Indian Premier League match held on Tuesday, Sunrisers Hyderabad achieved a spectacular 47-run victory over Delhi Capitals. Chasing a massive target of 243 runs set by Hyderabad, aided by Abhishek Sharma's explosive unbeaten century, Delhi was bundled out for 195 runs.

Batting first after losing the toss, Hyderabad posted a mammoth total of 242 runs for the loss of just 2 wickets in their allotted 20 overs. Opener Abhishek Sharma delivered an outstanding performance, scoring an unbeaten 135 runs off just 68 balls. He was well-supported by Travis Head, who scored 37 runs off 26 balls, and Heinrich Klaasen, who remained unbeaten on 37 off 13 balls. For Delhi, Axar Patel took the only wicket.

In response, Delhi Capitals could only manage 195 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in 20 overs. Nitish Rana was the top scorer for Delhi with 57 runs, while Sameer Rizvi added 41 and KL Rahul contributed 37, but they could not lead the team to victory.

In Hyderabad's victory, Ishan Malinga delivered a lethal bowling performance, taking 4 wickets for 32 runs in his 4 overs. Similarly, Harsh Dubey claimed 3 wickets while conceding 11 runs in 2 overs.
