Department of Transport Management Begins Distribution of Backlogged Smart Licenses

Kathmandu. The Department of Transport Management has completed the printing of long-pending smart driving licenses and has begun dispatching them to the respective transport offices.

In a public notice, the department stated that the printed licenses are being sent to the relevant offices at an accelerated pace, and service seekers can collect their licenses directly from those offices.

According to the department, drivers can obtain their licenses from the same office where they passed their driving trials or submitted details for renewal. The notice issued by the department states, 'As the process of dispatching printed driving licenses to the respective offices is being carried out rapidly, individuals are informed to collect their licenses from the office where they submitted their details.'
