Bollywood Stars Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh Expecting Second Child

Mumbai. Renowned Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone and actor Ranveer Singh are set to become parents for the second time. Deepika announced on Sunday via social media that she is pregnant and looking forward to welcoming their second child.

Deepika shared the happy news on Instagram with a photo. In the image, their daughter Dua is seen holding a pregnancy test kit, while Ranveer and Deepika's hands are holding their daughter. Following the announcement, Bollywood colleagues and fans have flooded social media with congratulatory messages. 

Notably, Deepika has decided not to take a break from her work during this pregnancy. According to film industry sources, she will remain active in the shooting of her upcoming projects. 

She is currently busy shooting for director Atlee's film 'Raka'. In this film, she will be seen alongside South superstar Allu Arjun. Sources indicate that Deepika is even filming some challenging action sequences for the movie and plans to continue shooting throughout her pregnancy.

Deepika and Ranveer were married in Italy in 2018. Six years after their marriage, in September 2024, they welcomed their first child, daughter Dua. Dua is now about a year and a half old and is preparing to become a big sister.

Deepika currently has two major films in her pipeline. She will appear alongside Shah Rukh Khan in Siddharth Anand's film 'King', which is scheduled for release in December 2026. Additionally, her role in the film 'Raka' with Allu Arjun is described as powerful and action-packed.
