Dr. Shekhar Koirala's faction to boycott meeting called by Sher Bahadur Deuba

Kathmandu. The Dr. Shekhar Koirala faction of the Nepali Congress has decided not to attend the working committee meeting called by the Sher Bahadur Deuba-led faction, which was elected during the 14th General Convention. 

A meeting of the Koirala faction held at his secretariat in Bishalnagar on Sunday morning concluded that they would not participate in the meeting convened by the Deuba camp.

Leader of the faction and outgoing Joint General Secretary Jeevan Pariyar confirmed that they would not attend the meeting called by the Deuba side.

 ‘We did not attend the meeting they (Deuba faction) called yesterday,’ Pariyar told Ratopati, ‘We will not attend today either. We have a separate faction within the party. We will hold our own meeting and proceed in our own way.’
