Demolition drive underway to expand main road in Birgunj

Parsa. Bulldozers were deployed in Birgunj early Sunday morning. In coordination with the Road Division Office, Hetauda, bulldozers were used to remove houses and temporary structures falling within the road standards for the expansion of the main road of Birgunj, which falls under the Tribhuvan Highway. 

For the road expansion, 9 pieces of equipment, including bulldozers, JCBs, and excavators from the Road Division, and 4 bulldozers from the Birgunj Metropolitan City were mobilized to remove the encroached structures.
