At least 5 killed in shooting incident in Kyiv residential district

Kyiv. At least 5 people have been killed in a shooting incident in a residential district of Kyiv, Ukraine, on Saturday. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has confirmed the incident and expressed his condolences to the families of those who lost their lives.

Expressing his condolences to the victims' families on the social media platform X, President Zelenskyy wrote, "A tragic incident has occurred near the capital. It has been confirmed that 5 people have died so far. My condolences to the families and loved ones."

He stated that 10 others injured in the incident have been admitted to the hospital. Zelenskyy has ordered an immediate investigation into the shooting and stated that all facts regarding the incident have been uncovered.
