Foreign Minister Khanal Emphasizes Good Governance and Prosperity

Kathmandu. Foreign Minister Shishir Khanal has stated that the government is working towards ensuring good governance and prosperity.

Speaking at the 'New Year 2083 Exchange of Greetings and Tea Reception' program organized by the Gongabu Residential Area Improvement Committee today, he mentioned that the government has already begun the necessary work to achieve these goals.

Minister Khanal said, "The public has chosen the path of change by voting for the Rastriya Swatantra Party, and the current government will not let this go to waste. As mentioned in the RSP's manifesto, we will work by keeping good governance and prosperity as our main priorities."

He noted that controlling corruption is a high priority for the government, and the Council of Ministers has formed a committee to investigate the assets of individuals who have held high positions since 2062 BS. Foreign Minister Khanal stated that the government is working day and night to provide services and facilities to the public with ease.

"We are working in a way that the public can feel the change. The government is working to keep Nepali citizens safe not only within the country but also abroad," he said, adding, "The government will pay special attention to economic prosperity and job creation. We will create an environment for doing business easily."

Minister Khanal, who is also a member of the House of Representatives from Kathmandu Constituency No. 6, expressed his commitment to continuously work towards solving problems related to drinking water, sewage, and roads within his constituency.
