Pakistan PM Sharif Welcomes Lebanon Ceasefire, Praises Trump's Diplomatic Efforts

Islamabad. Pakistan's Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has welcomed the ceasefire in Lebanon, reaffirming Pakistan's commitment to supporting efforts for long-term peace in the Middle East.

In a message posted on social media platform X on Friday, Prime Minister Sharif emphasized Pakistan's unwavering support for Lebanon's sovereignty and territorial integrity. He stated that Pakistan will remain a partner in all efforts aimed at regional stability and lasting peace.

Sharif also praised the diplomatic role of US President Donald Trump in these peace efforts. Describing Trump's initiative as 'vigilant and prudent diplomacy,' he expressed hope that it would pave the way for long-term peace.
