Minister Sita Nepali Extends Mother's Day Greetings, Emphasizes Maternal Respect

Kathmandu. On the occasion of Mata Tirtha Aunsi, also known as Mother's Day, Minister for Women, Children and Senior Citizens Sita Nepali has expressed her respect and extended warm wishes to all mothers. Describing mothers as the embodiment of sacrifice, love, patience, and selfless service, Minister Nepali stated that a mother's dedication to her children represents the highest human value.

She particularly highlighted how mothers spend their entire lives for the happiness of their children without any expectations or remuneration. According to the Minister, this special day provides an opportunity to be grateful to all mothers and serves as an inspiration for every citizen to remember their responsibilities.

Emphasizing that just as mothers fulfill their duties with complete dedication despite hardships, she urged everyone to perform their roles for the benefit of society and the nation with honesty in thought, word, and deed. She noted that rising above personal interests to work for the honor and welfare of mothers is the true significance of this day.

Minister Nepali also pledged that she and her ministry remain committed to ensuring the respect, security, and dignified life of every mother. She believes that only when mothers are respected in society can a society become civilized and the nation move toward prosperity.

Expressing her desire to see happiness in the eyes of every mother and to see 'Mother Nepal' smiling, she called upon everyone to uphold the dignity of mothers.
