Home Minister attends funeral of Inspector Abhay Lama killed in motorcycle accident

Kathmandu. Home Minister Sudan Gurung attended the funeral of Police Inspector Abhay Lama, who died in a motorcycle accident in Tarkeshwor Municipality, Kathmandu. Home Minister Gurung arrived at the funeral ceremony in Swayambhu and carried Lama's casket. 

On Chait 29, the motorcycle (Bagmati Province-02-029 Pa 9415) ridden by Lama was struck by a truck (Bagmati Province-03-001 Kha 1715) at Dandagaun in Tarkeshwor Municipality-8. Inspector Lama passed away while undergoing treatment at B&B Hospital. His funeral was held on Friday after waiting for his wife, who was in Japan, and other family members to arrive. 

Inspector Lama was serving at the Valley Traffic Police Office.
