Nepal Rastra Bank Releases Foreign Exchange Rates for Friday

Kathmandu. The Nepal Rastra Bank has determined the foreign exchange rates for today (Friday). According to the set rates, the buying rate for one US dollar is 148 rupees 82 paisa, and the selling rate is 149 rupees 42 paisa.

Similarly, the buying rate for one European Euro is 175 rupees 40 paisa and the selling rate is 176 rupees 11 paisa; the buying rate for one UK Pound Sterling is 201 rupees 60 paisa and the selling rate is 202 rupees 41 paisa; and the buying rate for one Swiss Franc is 189 rupees 94 paisa and the selling rate is 190 rupees 71 paisa.

The buying rate for one Australian dollar is 106 rupees 73 paisa and the selling rate is 107 rupees 16 paisa; the buying rate for one Canadian dollar is 108 rupees 38 paisa and the selling rate is 108 rupees 82 paisa; and the buying rate for one Singapore dollar is 117 rupees 02 paisa and the selling rate is 117 rupees 50 paisa.

The buying rate for 10 Japanese Yen is 9 rupees 36 paisa and the selling rate is 9 rupees 40 paisa; the buying rate for one Chinese Yuan is 21 rupees 82 paisa and the selling rate is 21 rupees 91 paisa; the buying rate for one Saudi Arabian Riyal is 39 rupees 67 paisa and the selling rate is 39 rupees 83 paisa; and the buying rate for one Qatari Riyal is 40 rupees 82 paisa and the selling rate is 40 rupees 98 paisa.

According to the central bank, the buying rate for one Thai Baht is 4 rupees 66 paisa and the selling rate is 4 rupees 68 paisa; the buying rate for one UAE Dirham is 40 rupees 52 paisa and the selling rate is 40 rupees 68 paisa; the buying rate for one Malaysian Ringgit is 37 rupees 64 paisa and the selling rate is 37 rupees 79 paisa; the buying rate for 100 South Korean Won is 10 rupees 08 paisa and the selling rate is 10 rupees 12 paisa; the buying rate for one Swedish Kroner is 16 rupees 22 paisa and the selling rate is 16 rupees 28 paisa; and the buying rate for one Danish Kroner is 23 rupees 47 paisa and the selling rate is 23 rupees 57 paisa.

The Rastra Bank has set the buying rate for one Hong Kong dollar at 19 rupees 02 paisa and the selling rate at 19 rupees 09 paisa; the buying rate for one Kuwaiti Dinar at 486 rupees 02 paisa and the selling rate at 487 rupees 98 paisa; the buying rate for one Bahrain Dinar at 394 rupees 54 paisa and the selling rate at 396 rupees 13 paisa; and the buying rate for one Omani Rial at 386 rupees 54 paisa and the selling rate at 388 rupees 10 paisa. Likewise, the buying rate for 100 Indian Rupees is 160 rupees and the selling rate is 160 rupees 15 paisa.

The Rastra Bank has stated that these exchange rates can be revised at any time if necessary. The rates set by commercial banks may differ, and updated exchange rates are available on the central bank's website.
