Preparations for the 5th Parwanipur Gold Cup Football Tournament reach final stages

Parsa. Preparations for the fifth edition of the Parwanipur Gold Cup football tournament have reached their final stages. Organized by the Shakti Youth Club, the tournament will be held at the Parwanipur sports ground from Baisakh 5 to 12.

Shakti Youth Club President Subodh Shrivastav informed that eight teams, including one from neighboring India and seven from Nepal, will participate in the tournament. The participating teams include the host Shakti Youth Club (Bara), Birgunj United Club, Birgunj Youth Club, Regal ANFA Club (Hetauda), Nawa Janajagriti Youth Club Simara, Chidiya Daha Club Rautahat, Nijgadh Football Club, and Young Star Club (India).

Tournament Coordinator Sanjay Mandal stated that the winner will receive a cash prize of Rs 200,000, while the runner-up will receive Rs 100,000, along with trophies, medals, and certificates. Co-coordinator Deepak Yadav added that awards will also be given to the best defender, forward, and player of the match. The best player of the tournament will receive a cash prize of Rs 5,100.
