Home Minister Gurung Urges Chinese Contractor to Expedite Narayangadh-Butwal Road Project

Kathmandu. Home Minister Sudan Gurung has drawn the attention of the Chinese contractor regarding the long-standing abandonment of the Narayangadh-Butwal road section.

During an inspection of the section, Gurung expressed dissatisfaction with the delays in construction.

During the inspection, he stated that the abandonment of the road has caused hardship for passengers, disrupted traffic, and increased the risk of accidents. He urged the construction company to complete the work quickly. He inspected the area on Sunday.

Gurung has directed the construction company to perform quality work on time. While instructing the construction company to complete the work quickly, he said, 'Public safety must be the top priority, and there should be no negligence in construction work.'

Representatives of the Chinese construction company have committed to completing the road construction within the next 15 days.
