Nepali Congress General Secretaries Clarify Active Membership Update Process

Kathmandu. Nepali Congress General Secretaries Pradeep Paudel and Gururaj Ghimire have clarified that the party has launched a campaign to organize and update active memberships, rather than abolishing them.

Expressing their views via social media, they dismissed recent rumors claiming that 'active memberships are being abolished' as false and misleading propaganda. They stated that the party has initiated an update process to make the membership system more robust, transparent, and effective.

The General Secretaries expressed confidence that this campaign will strengthen the organization down to the grassroots level. According to them, the renewal process will further reinforce discipline, accountability, and unity within the party.

They also noted that, learning from past experiences, the party has implemented technological integration and procedural improvements in membership management this time. 

The General Secretaries have called upon all active members to update their memberships on time and urged new members to join the party, requesting them to play an active role in strengthening the organization.
