Meanwhile, the US military is preparing to initiate a full blockade of Iranian ports starting Monday. Trump has announced that the US Navy will intercept every vessel entering or exiting the Strait of Hormuz. He also warned that any ship paying illegal fees to Iran will not be permitted safe passage in international waters.

This aggressive move by the US is expected to create significant disruptions in a major global oil supply route. Experts have expressed concern that a blockade in Hormuz could lead to global fuel shortages and price hikes.
