Two arrested with 286 kg of marijuana in Dhading

Dhading. Two individuals have been arrested with approximately 286 kilograms of marijuana in Dhading. Last night, police apprehended two people from a road in Gajuri Bazaar, Gajuri Rural Municipality-1, with about 286 kilograms and 400 grams of marijuana. The arrested individuals are 22-year-old Ammar BK, a resident of Nilkantha Municipality-8, and 19-year-old Hom Bahadur BK, a resident of Siddhalek Rural Municipality-5.

Police from the Area Police Office, Gajuri, intercepted a vehicle (Ba. 5 Kha 7537) traveling from Adamghat towards Gajuri. Upon searching the vehicle, they discovered the marijuana hidden in nine sacks covered with a tarpaulin in the truck bed. The driver, Ammar, and the passenger, Hom, were subsequently arrested, according to police reports.
