Shram Sanskriti Party Nominates Gen Z Candidate for Deputy Speaker

Kathmandu. Shram Sanskriti Party Chairman Harkaraj Rai stated that they have nominated Ruby Kumari Thakur, a member of the Gen Z group, as their candidate for Deputy Speaker to address the Gen Z movement.

While expressing his views on the Deputy Speaker candidacy in the House of Representatives on Friday, MP Rai said, 'Our candidate is Gen Z. We have nominated her because this situation has arisen due to the Gen Z movement.'

Rai also urged fellow MPs not to belittle those who have been elected by the people. 

He said, 'We know who said what to whom and what level of decorum is maintained by those elected by the people. It was observed that some honorable members referred to her as 'Ruby sister'; I demand that this be retracted. It was also observed that senior citizens were insulted; that should not happen. We hope that there will be no disrespect toward the elderly.'
